   Dori & Randy

Dori & Randy Hello! I'm Dori. I have the good fortune of meeting you over the phone and then riding with you when you get here. I grew up in the military and look at me now! I had no idea I'd be living this way of life. My husband Randy introduced me to ranching ten years ago and there's no place I'd rather be; right here, sharing every part of it I can with you!

Now let me introduce you to the others ...

Dori

Randy, my husband and my best friend in life. When you think of a person who is natural in a certain area, he is a natural with horses. He left Pennsylvania when he was 17, and flew to Wyoming. Knocked on a few doors, and has been working for cattle outfits, guest outfits, guided for hunters, and packed up to 55 horses on 100-mile trips into the Yellowstone area, even rounded up wild horses for the BLM. My first job at McDonalds just doesn't seem to compare!

   Shayne & Jo-Anne

Shayne & Jo-Anne The owners of McGinnis Meadows Ranch. Shayne started this place because of his love of riding and his desire to carry on the Vaquero tradition/Buck Brannaman style of horsemanship with others. He's an excellent teacher, great friend and I love his everlasting excitement and wonder on this way of life. His beautiful wife, Jo-Anne, is warm, witty, and feisty too! She's the one to thank for all the beautiful detail and care put into decorating the ranch. She spends many hours at home working on her gorgeous garden - I love bringing people by on our rides, it's a sight to behold! She and Shayne have come a long way with their hard work and upfront honesty. They are a pleasure to work with and you'll always feel at home.

   Ricky & Joel

Ricky & Joel Ricky has come a long way since he drove up from Ten Sleep Wyoming in his old pickup truck back when the ranch first opened in 1999.

Fulfilling his goal of becoming the best horseman, he's loyally followed and carried out this style of horsemanship and now during the winter months, helps others across the country with their horses.

Ricky enjoys spending his summers with us out on Graze ensuring the fences are in good condition, the salt put out for the cattle, and that there's enough water for them in each pasture we go to.

He'll keep his horses with him at his camp, and will often ride with you to move cattle to new pastures.

You'll find he is a most dedicated young man and a joy to learn from.

Joel started with us last season and has proven to be quite the hand. Randy's groomed him to learn the country out at Graze and he's got the south end of it pretty well figured out. He's also learning to shoe from Ricky and Randy as well which helps spread that load with 65 horses to care for! You'll enjoy Joel's light-hearted sense of humor, and his genuineness.
