The room has a small balcony.

Children's Programs Beaumont Ranch in its family friendly tradition offers a variety of activities for all ages. The programs offered for ages 2 to 17 are grouped under the Chisholm Trail Blazer Program. The Chisholm Trail Blazer Program is a youth agenda that capitalizes on the amenities of the ranch for several first class activities for “young cowhands”. Each Chisholm Trail Blazer will receive the quarterly newsletter and a special kids only summer newspaper, as well as birthday cards and invitations for special events.

The “Eggnourmous Eggstravagnza” is an example of an invitation only event at the ranch. Your child can become a member of the program by providing name, birth date and address. This can be done at the logo store in the Lone Star Barn. There is no cost and no expectation of Chisholm Trail Blazers. Each trail Blazer receives a free meal for his or her birthday. Those trail blazers between the age of two and ten will receive an invitation to the Eggnourmous Eggstravaganza. Special discounts are given seasonally to Trail Blazers for different logo merchandise.

As in all ranch activities the stress in the Chisholm Trail Blazer Program is on the individual. Each person is rewarded for their skills and strengths and applauded for participation.

Beaumont Ranch prides in offering kids daily, weekend and weekly events.

Eggnourmous Eggstravagnza
All Chisholm Trailblazers (ages 18 months-10 years) will be invited to the annual Easter Egg Hunt the Sunday before Easter. Each Trail Blazer will receive a yellow mailing tube filled with confetti, candy eggs, and the invitation. This Easter Egg Hunt is by invitation only.

The hunts will be divided by age. There will be crafts times also divided by age. The clowns and other entertainment will be at the ranch as well. The Sunday Barbecue will take place as usual and a food court will be open during the event. There is no charge for the hunt, the entertainment, or the craft time. This is a ranch favorite event.

Bring a basket. There is a five dollar charge for parking.

Birthday Parties
Beaumont Ranch’s basic birthday party for kids is in the Lone Star Barn. It includes the use of the pony bounce, mechanical bull, shuffleboard, indoor golf, and other games. This party can include a visit to the stable, but this is not mandatory. While in the stable a branded wood plaque will be made for each attendee. The meal is usually hamburgers and hot dogs. The event includes unlimited beverages and a simple cake for ten.

Beaumont Ranch Bucks can be purchased for the birthday party favors. Each child can shop with bucks for an appropriate gift for themselves. Goodie Bags are also available for purchase. Prices vary from $5.00 to $50.00 per person.

Available options include:
  • Special entertainment by quote
  • Horseback riding $15.00 per half hour per child
  • Paddle boating (requires a life guard) by quote
  • Other Custom options available by request
The Special Events Planners will always pass on the best price available for the use of outside vendors.

Proms
The Ranch is a natural location for proms and after the prom parties. The beautiful linens, fine china, and leaded crystal used in weddings are available. Proms are themed with props and a photograph area set up for the evening. An event coordinator will work with the prom designer to develop the event’s theme and make the best use of the ranch’s linens and props. The evening starts with the main event in the Bluebonnet Barn. The beautiful sky ceiling and the romantic atmosphere of the Bluebonnet Barn set the stage for many special evenings.

After the prom, the group moves to the Lone Star Barn where all the games are waiting. The ranch owns its own casino equipment and several inflatable games. This keeps everyone close and off the roads.
Special Entertainment Upcoming Events
Civil War Reenactment March 16-18, 2006
Three County Cattle Drive September 24-25, 2004

Special Activities
One of the favorite activites of both cowboys and city slickers is the skeet shooting set up. Let Beaumont Ranch arrange a friendly competition with their “state of the art” machine. The competition takes place on a raised deck with comfortable chairs. They provide the skeet, the deck, the chairs and the mood. Staff will assist you and your guests.

Chisholm Fork is a natural back drop for an orchestrated gunfight. The bad guys can shoot it out from balconies and behind buidings. They can ride into town by horse back. Or your bus can be held up on the way onto the ranch. This option is available by quote with any event.

Hog hunts are guided and available during most of the year. This is a very popular option to combine with a stay at the bed and breakfast on South and to follow with a pig roast at the camp site.

Paint Ball, Laser Tag, and More
All prices are subject to change without notice. Please call ahead for accurate pricing.

The standard package includes goggles and mask, camouflage suit, gloves, elbow and kneww pads, semi-automatic with loader, puch belt, 200 rounds of paintball. $35.00 per person with a minimum of ten people. All players must sign a waiver.

A complete course is set up on the Reeanctment Hill behind the Lone Star. This is includes obstacles, flags, and hay bales.

Sorry no alcohol or private CO2 is allowed on the field. Friendly, trained staff.

This is an excellent activity for bachelor or bachelorette parties, company outing, birthday party, or family reunion. This is an excellent team building event. It breaks down barriers and is a great stress buster.

The ranch provides the guns and vests for Laser Tag. The game can be played in the alien space ship. This inflatable game is complete with fog and sounds and is specifically designed for laser tag. The field used for paint ball is also used for laser tag. They can also set up a hay bale course in several other locations on the ranch. Game parameters can be altered to play a variety of games that will test a myriad of skills. Beaumont Ranch will be happy to help you with these adjustments.

The ranch owns several inflatble games including: the pony bounce, the mechanical bull, the alien space ship, obstacle course and slide. There are many other options available. Please ask your event planner for a list of available inflatables.

Beaumont Ranch can plan an all action mix of activities which can incorporate both inflatable games, paint ball, and cowboy activities for team building. The focus can be on one type of activity. Frequently, they design team building activities that are all cowboy style or all physical. Please ask your event planner for suggestions.

Lone Star Saturday Nights
Texas Country Artists are featured every Saturday night. The evening takes place in the Lone Star Barn. The pony bounce and the golf course are removed for the night. The mechanical bull and the big screen remain. It is an opportunity to have a nice quiet evening of dancing and listening to music. The cover charge will be determined by the cost of the entertainment. Call Roxann or Cody at the main ranch for the relevant facts or to request your favorite entertainment. They look forward to seeing you there.

Different Saturdays will be used to raise funds for different charities or to celebrate special events.

Experience the Civil War
Three days of activities took place on March 28-30, 2003. They relived the civil war complete with 16 cannons. Admission for spectators was $3.00. Friday, March 28, was free for students twelve and under. Special demonstrations and activities were held for student field trips. It was estimated that 900 people participated. Confederate and Union armies had both cavalry and infantry troops. There were settlers and settler camps. Vendors specific to the civil war period also took part in the weekend reenactment. The South and the North put down their weapons long enough on Saturday night for a ball. The attendees all wore period dress and enjoyed the music and dance of the civil war days. The public was not invited to the ball but were welcome to watch the battle and all the necessary preparations that led up to the event. Saturday the Union took possession of Chisholm Fork and on Sunday the Confederacy retook the town. Visit 7thTexcavalry.com for more information or to become part of future battles.

The Friday Night Fish Fry and the Sunday Barbecue took place at the usual times and place. The gates open at 9:00am and closed at 5:00pm. This is planned as an annual event at Beaumont Ranch.

A two-man band performs for the Friday Night Fish Fry. Saturday Night Texas Muscians are Featured with the Taste of Texas Buffet.
