Overview
Beaumont Ranch is a guest and working cattle ranch that blends the charm and beauty of the Texas West with contemporary convenience. Located just 35 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and Dallas, the ranch is just close enough to the city to allow convenience and just far enough to place you where the West begins. With the history and tradition of the famed Chisholm Trail that runs through the ranch, the Beaumont's have created an environment for just about any size group that desires a setting that has “country flair” or the tops in “western elegance”.
The Bluebonnet Barn is ideal for every occasion from corporate meetings to family reunions to theme parties to the most elegant wedding reception.
Weddings are a specialty at Beaumont Ranch. The bride may arrive by horse-drawn carriage to walk down the aisle to exchange vows in the gazebo overlooking two ponds and a fountain. The little church in Chisolm Fork, the ranch’s 1890 western town, offers a unique setting for a small and intimate wedding.
The Lone Star Barn is the perfect location for that truly western event with carriage rides, the mechanical bull and roller roper. Real cowboys work Corriente cattle in the surrounding fields.
The more rustic side of the operation includes trail rides, cattle drives, fishing, and walks through the country as part of your stay. Sitting atop a hill overlooking a large pond, you are in the lap of luxury with four bedrooms, each with its own outside garden and porch area.
Beau Monde, the Spa at Beaumont Ranch, is a destination spa with an authentic western town right outside the door. Beau Monde offers the latest in massages, micro derma abrasion, facials, pedicures and even hair and nails. Beautiful accommodations and gourmet dining are just a few of the ways you’ll be pampered.
Chisholm Fork is modeled after an 1890 Texas town similar to so many that sprang up during the brief time of the Chisholm Trail. This little town, though fortunate enough to be on the route of the railroad, faces many challenges just to survive. Texas may not have been the site for much fighting during the Civil War, but like much of the Southwest her wounds are deep and misshapen as they heal. Political differences, the railroad, barbed wire, electric lights and the loss of so many healthy young men to war made for a different world.
Texas weather is a weather of extremes. The summers are hot, dry and brutal. Anytime can bring monumental windstorms. Tornadoes are common. Some years there is little rain. No rain means no grass. No grass means no cattle. No cattle makes for lean times in a town that depends on the movement of cattle to market for its livelihood.
Half Circle B Catering offers you a chance to indulge in an unforgettable dining experience. Serving 10 to 10,000 at any location you desire, there are customized themes and menus prepared with a personal touch from the ranch’s very own kitchen. There’s even an authentic chuckwagon for a truly Texas experience. Stop by on Friday evenings for a down home fish fry or make arrangements for a terrific meal to take home.
